ZTE plans to release a high-end Smartphone in the United States in mid-2012, according to a December 8, 2011 report by the Wall Street Journal. Currently, ZTE is in talks with major four US operators over the new Smartphone, and the device is reported to adopt Android or Windows 7 OS. ZTE projects that the United States will become the company's top mobile phone market by 2015. ZTE has already set up 10 offices and 3 R&D centers in the United States, and the company now considers to built a manufacturing plant there to manufacture mobile devices.
